Chainlink + Memenopoly = Fair Gaming!
Fairness and openness are key to building trust in the DeFi space. We wanted to take a few moments to highlight some of the things we are doing to make sure we have a fair launch and gameplay that is truly random!
We are pleased to announce we have full Chainlink VRF Integration in two critical part of our ecosystem!
Rolling
On the surface, it’s pretty simple, get a random number between 2–12. But on the blockchain, this has been a source of exploits for many projects! Randomness just isn’t random on the blockchain alone.
Enter Chainlink VRF! The all Knowing Random Oracle!
Chainlink provides a simple yet effective service for generating truly transparent and random numbers on the blockchain. We were able to tap into this service to verify each roll is fair and transparent to ensure there is no manipulation possible! (learn more about Chainlink VRF here)
How it works:
NFT Card Packs
We have also fully implemented Chainlink VRF into our Card Pack contract for randomizing the NFTs you receive when opening a pack.
Card Packs (aka Loot Boxes) are the center of both the NFT and initial $MNOP distribution and we couldn’t risk the chance of any exploiting or manipulation during distribution!
If you have already been testing on the beta you’ll soon notice we had to change the flow of the pack openings to accommodate the new integration.
We have also made the decision to limit pack openings to 1 at a time per BSC address. This is to help keep the initial distribution as fair and un-bot friendly as possible. You can still redeem multiple packs, you just have to wait for the current pack to open before you redeem the next.

Audit
We are in the process finalizing and verifying our contracts and have already reached out to a few trusted auditors, we should have some more info on this in the very near future!
Board Change
One final anti-exploit note worth mentioning, we are changing around the board slightly by switching the first Chest space with the first Property. This puts the Chest at the first space on the board so there are no instant rewards that can be landed on and claimed on the first roll! So, sorry bot farms!
We are a little bummed that legitimate players won’t be able to win straight out of the gate, but this eliminates the ability to game the system by rolling once with many accounts and collecting a reward every time you roll a 2.
